It is said that when weaving practices first began at Kanchipuram centuries back, the weavers used cotton as their primary base. Even though the Kanjivaram silk has taken predominance, the cotton sarees of this town have stood the test of time and have gained popularity.

This all-natural Kanchi cotton saree in an eye-pleasing color contrast carries the sophisticated charm that is attributed to sarees made in the looms of Kanjivaram.
